For the first time, U.S. President Donald Trump has publicly stated that he intervened to prevent numerous new wars globally, including a potential conflict between Serbia and Kosovo. He claimed these interventions occurred “three weeks ago or a little more.”

“Stopped Many Big Wars”

Speaking from the White House, Trump asserted, “We did a good job with India and Pakistan, also with Serbia and Kosovo, Rwanda and Congo. And all of this happened over the last three weeks or so, right Marco? And (we stopped) others who were ready to fight, and we stopped many clashes. I think we stopped many big wars, to tell you the truth. Very big ones.”

He elaborated on the India-Pakistan situation, stating, “It was India and Pakistan. We stopped the war through trade. We are dealing with India, with Pakistan, and we told them that we will not deal with you at all if you fight. Maybe they were almost at a stage of waging nuclear war, because as you know they are nuclear powers. We stopped it, and that was very important.”

Criticism of Biden on Ukraine

Trump also touched upon the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, describing it as “a terrible monster created by Biden.” He added, “I am not happy at all with President Putin. But this is something that would never have happened if I were president. This is a war that with me would never have happened.”
