Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree imposing sanctions on five Chinese companies, according to a document published on his official website.

Ten-Year Sanctions Include Asset Freezes and Trade Bans

The sanctioned list includes five legal entities registered in China. These sanctions will remain in effect for ten years and include measures such as asset freezes, prohibition of trade operations, withdrawal of assets from Ukraine, and revocation of licenses, including those for the use of natural resources.

Zelensky regularly imposes sanctions on Russian citizens and legal entities, as well as companies and individuals from other countries suspected of collaborating with Russia. These sanctions are initiated by Ukrainian ministries and other government agencies, then approved by the National Security and Defense Council.
