Full Statement:
Tonight we gathered in one of the most beautiful cities in Kosovo, one of the oldest, richest, and dearest—Prizren—the capital of our historical spirit, the place where the heart of our national identity beat, where the League that gave our people hope and a path to freedom was born.
There, we officially presented our candidate for the upcoming local elections, Driton Selmanaj.
Driton enters this race with professional preparation and full commitment to open a new chapter in Prizren—one where priorities are shaped not by party affiliations, but by the real needs of citizens. Where rhetoric is replaced by real, measured, and well-planned development.

This city needs to rebuild trust with its citizens. It needs better public services, modern infrastructure, investment in education, culture, tourism, and technology. It needs urban planning that preserves heritage while paving the way for the future. It needs investment in its youth—for which LDK has a clear plan: to create opportunities, build institutions, open jobs, and provide cultural spaces.
In this endeavor, Driton Selmanaj is ready. He understands that Prizren is not a city that seeks spectacle—it is a city that demands dedication. And he is ready to deliver it.
We wish him success.
