Brendan Hanrahan, a senior official from the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, will visit Kosovo tomorrow as part of his diplomatic tour through the Western Balkans.

During his stay, Hanrahan will meet with Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, as well as leaders from parliamentary political parties.

The visit was previously announced by Hanrahan himself via the social platform X on July 9, stating:

“Looking forward to strengthening ties between the United States and the countries of the region.”

His Western Balkans trip also includes Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

Additional Meetings:
President Vjosa Osmani, who is currently on an official visit to the U.S., held a meeting with Hanrahan earlier this week.

LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku confirmed the meeting with the U.S. diplomat, but due to travel obligations, Vice President Hykmete Bajrami will represent the party.

This visit underscores continued U.S. engagement and commitment to the stability, democracy, and Euro-Atlantic integration of the region.
