Top Diplomats of Russia and North Korea MeetRussian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with his North Korean counterpart Choe Son-hui on Saturday in the coastal city of Wonsan.
During the meeting, Pyongyang reaffirmed its support for Russia’s military actions in Ukraine, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.
Lavrov flew from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, on Friday after attending the ASEAN foreign ministers’ meeting. He arrived the same day in Wonsan, North Korea — a newly opened coastal resort city also known for its missile and naval facilities, reports Reuters.
