The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, met today with Brendan Hanrahan, Senior Official for European Affairs at the U.S. State Department.
During the meeting, the two discussed current developments in Kosovo and the region, emphasizing the importance of political and institutional cooperation to ensure stability and progress.
Krasniqi reaffirmed PDK’s commitment to fostering a functional political climate and offering solutions that serve the citizens of Kosovo.
He highlighted the vital importance of American support for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration and the key role the United States continues to play in maintaining peace in the Western Balkans.
A major topic of discussion was the urgency of reaching a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, with mutual recognition as a central pillar.
Krasniqi concluded by emphasizing that the U.S. remains Kosovo’s most important ally, and that the partnership is unwavering.
