Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, is scheduled to hold a press conference today at 16:30 (4:30 PM), according to an announcement from the Presidency.
This conference follows a strong reaction from Richard Grenell, the U.S. Special Envoy for Special Missions, who has accused President Osmani of manipulating the words of U.S. President Donald Trump in a recent statement.
Grenell described President Osmani’s claim that Trump had, “in recent weeks,” prevented a conflict between Kosovo and Serbia as “manipulation of Donald Trump’s words.” He asserted that it is “absurd” to suggest anything new, linking Trump’s words to the time of the Washington Agreement.
“Shame on Vjosa Osmani for manipulating President Donald Trump’s words,” Grenell added in his reaction.
