Police Official Bojan Jevtić Detained for 48 Hours, Confidential Documents, Weapon, and Over €10,000 Found

Bojan Jevtić, a high-ranking police official, has been detained for 48 hours following his arrest today at the “Dheu i Bardhë” border crossing. Sinjali.com exclusively reported on the operation, carried out by Kosovo Police special units in cooperation with other state agencies.

Jevtić, who served as deputy commander and head of operations in a police structure in northern Kosovo, was apprehended as part of an investigation into alleged espionage.

Evidence Seized During Raid

The Special Prosecution announced that “investigations carried out in cooperation with the Police Inspectorate and the Kosovo Intelligence Agency have resulted in the detention and arrest of the defendant for 48 hours.”

During a raid at Jevtić’s home in a village in Kamenica, authorities seized significant material evidence, including:

  • Confidential Kosovo Police documents
  • Several smartphones
  • USB drives
  • A short firearm
  • Ammunition
  • Cash totaling €10,000, 2 million Serbian Dinars, and 600 Swiss Francs
  • Other evidence to be examined during the investigation.
