16 Students from Kosovo to Begin Studies in the U.S. through YES Program

The U.S. Embassy in Prishtina has announced that 16 young students from Kosovo will soon begin their academic journey in the United States as part of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program.

In a Facebook post, the Embassy expressed excitement about the departure of this new cohort and extended heartfelt thanks to the host families in the U.S. who will welcome the students into their homes.

“The U.S. Embassy is thrilled to see a new group of 16 exceptional students from Kosovo begin their journey to the United States through the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program!” the post reads.

“This transformative experience will shape their futures in countless ways, and we can’t wait to hear about their growth and adventures over the coming year. A heartfelt thank you to the host families who opened their homes and hearts to these young leaders. Your generosity makes this extraordinary opportunity possible! YES Kosova.”

The YES program is a prestigious initiative that enables high school students from countries with significant Muslim populations to spend an academic year in the U.S., promoting mutual understanding and cultural exchange.
