Vetëvendosje MP Hekuran Murati stated that the political deadlock in the Kosovo Assembly could be overcome if there were genuine political will among the deputies.

Murati emphasized that 64 votes could be secured for the Assembly’s constitution, suggesting that the current stalemate is not a matter of numbers but of commitment.

“I hope that the political will is found, both within opposition parties and among individual MPs, to finally enable the constitution of the Assembly,” said Murati. “We currently have 57 votes. With Nisma’s votes, we are over 60. Add the votes of Duda Balje and Veton Berisha, we reach 62. Lutfi Haziri has said he would be vote number 61, making it 63. And with Bekë Berisha’s vote, we hit 64. So, securing the votes is not the issue—it’s just about willpower.”
