The Kosovo Police have announced the arrest of a 20-year-old male who had been convicted of child pornography offenses and was previously wanted by the authorities.
According to an official statement from the Directorate of the Capital Police, the arrest took place last night as part of ongoing operations aimed at apprehending individuals convicted or suspected of serious criminal offenses.
“The Capital Police Directorate continues to carry out enforcement actions to locate and arrest individuals suspected or convicted of criminal acts,”
the statement read.
“As part of these efforts, last night police successfully arrested the wanted individual: B.B.C., male, 20 years old, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, sentenced to 2.6 years in prison for the criminal offense of Child Pornography.”
Authorities confirmed that the individual has now been transferred to begin serving his prison sentence.
