The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, held a special meeting with members of the diaspora in a welcoming atmosphere at the LDK central headquarters, reports Rks News.
At this traditional welcome event, which saw a larger turnout than usual this time, Abdixhiku and his associates engaged in discussions with many activists and citizens from the diaspora.
In an official statement, LDK emphasized the importance of the diaspora for Kosovo:
“A traditional welcome evening, now established, with our compatriots who this time were even more numerous at the LDK Central Headquarters. With tireless activists and beloved citizens from our diaspora – who, despite the distance, have never been disconnected from Kosovo, from their homeland, and from our shared dream. Tonight, we shared words, feelings, memories, and hope for the Kosovo we want to build together. Because for LDK, the diaspora is not only a bridge connecting us to the world; it is an integral part of our history, development, and future. Gratitude to every one who honored us with their presence. Our journey is long, but together we are stronger. Welcome to your home, to our League, to LDK!”
