With the new school year approaching, the application process for school book subsidies in Kosovo has not yet opened.
The application is expected to launch within this week, considering that the 2025–2026 school year begins on September 1, giving parents enough time to benefit from the subsidy.
As in previous years, the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology (MASHT) will carry out the application process through the e-Kosova platform, where parents can apply for financial assistance to purchase textbooks for their children.
Last year, the online application process provided: 80 euros for students from grades 1 to 5 and 110 euros for students from grades 6 to 9.
Acting Minister of Education Arbërie Nagavci confirmed that the subsidy is intended to help families cover the cost of school books, easing the financial burden.
However, there is still no official announcement from MASHT regarding the exact opening date of the application. It is expected that the official notification will be published soon via the ministry’s official channels and the e-Kosova platform.
