Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Berlin today, where he was received by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz for an official meeting, Telegrafi reports.
Following their talks, the two leaders are expected to join a conference call with other European leaders, before U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance also join the discussion.
What stood out most during the visit was the extensive security presence. Police were deployed across the city to ensure the visit passed without incident. Officers were seen patrolling the Spree River on jet skis, while snipers were positioned on the roof of the building housing the German chancellor’s office.
