President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, received a letter today from former U.S. President Donald Trump.
In his message, President Trump emphasized his commitment to continue U.S.-Albania cooperation, grounded in friendship, alliance, and the respect for the ideals upon which the American nation was built and continues to function.
“By defending sovereignty, prosperity, and peace through strength, together we can achieve the impossible.
I look forward with pleasure to continuing our cooperation with the aim of building a safer, more sustainable, and more successful future,” Trump wrote in the letter addressed to President Begaj.
The letter from President Trump follows a message that President Begaj sent on the occasion of the 249th anniversary of U.S. Independence Day.
