The Central Election Commission (CEC) will continue holding meetings focused on preparations for the upcoming local elections, scheduled for October 12, 2025.
The first item on the agenda concerns the decertification of candidates from several political parties, including Vetëvendosje, LDK, Guxo, Alternativa, Democratic Union, Kosovski Savez, and the Vakat Coalition.
In addition to election preparations, the CEC is also expected to decide on the institution’s participation in two events outside Kosovo. Among them is participation in the observation of local elections in Estonia, set to take place from October 17–20, 2025, just five days after Kosovo’s local elections.
