PDK leader Memli Krasniqi met with France’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, René Troccaz.
During the meeting, Krasniqi briefed the envoy on Kosovo’s political situation and emphasized PDK’s responsibility in unblocking the parliamentary deadlock.
Krasniqi stated:
“Today, I had the pleasure of meeting France’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, René Troccaz. I thanked him for the attention France gives to Kosovo and our region, especially during these times of global challenges. I reiterated that the fastest and most proper way to close the chapter of the Western Balkans is the accelerated integration of our countries into the European Union.
We discussed the latest political developments in Kosovo and the need for our country to move forward with functional institutions and constructive dialogue. In this regard, I informed Envoy Troccaz that as PDK, we have contributed responsibly, both politically and institutionally, by voting for the Speaker of the Assembly to help unblock the situation.
I also thanked Ambassador Guérot and all French officials in Kosovo for their continued support for our state. PDK remains committed to stability, institutional responsibility, and Kosovo’s European future.”
