Vetëvendosje (VV) has once again proposed Albin Kurti as the mandate-holder for the next government during the party’s 59th General Council meeting.
The nomination comes despite the Constitutional Court suspending the work of the Kosovo Assembly until the end of September, following a complaint from the Serb List regarding the election of the Deputy Speaker from the Serb community.
Over a week ago, Dimal Basha concluded the process of constituting the Assembly without the election of the Serb deputy speaker, leaving the issue unresolved.
