The Mayor of Vushtrri, and PDK candidate for another term, Ferit Idrizi, during today’s local election debate on RTV21, listed the key projects implemented during his first mandate.
Idrizi said that the projects completed over the past four years have transformed Vushtrri, giving the city a new look.
“The governing plan for the next four years is a continuation of the projects that have already transformed Vushtrri. We began chronologically with improvements to the environment, starting by removing the roadside stones along the city promenade that were an obstacle for both vehicles and pedestrians. We worked on cleaning the rivers, considering that the 2021 floods caused millions in damages to family economies. We cleaned the Sitnica River as well as the streams in the villages. We also removed overhead cables from the city square, a promise made by every candidate during election campaigns,” Idrizi stated.
He went on to highlight many other projects carried out during the first term that will continue in the second.
