Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, stated that Serbia has been violating Kosovo’s airspace using drones.
“Recently, there have been unauthorized movements of drones crossing our airspace,” Sveçla told KTV, noting that several incidents involving Serbian drones over Kosovo have been identified.
He added that the matter is being professionally investigated in coordination with KFOR and other partner agencies. While authorities are monitoring the situation closely, Sveçla reassured the public that there is no immediate threat and all Kosovo institutions remain on high alert.
Earlier reports indicated suspicious drones near the Dyz prison, prompting the Kosovo Police to increase security measures in the area.
