Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu departed overnight for the United States, where he will address the UN General Assembly in New York and meet with President Donald Trump at the White House.

Before boarding his flight, Netanyahu declared: “There will be no state on the land of Israel.” He emphasized that his discussions with Trump would focus on achieving the war’s objectives, including the return of all hostages, the defeat of Hamas, and the expansion of peace agreements following what he described as “historic victories” in Operation Rising Lion and Israel’s recent conflict with Iran.

In his UN speech, Netanyahu said he intends to denounce world leaders who, instead of condemning “killers, rapists, and child murderers,” advocate for giving them a state in “the heart of the Land of Israel.” He insisted, “This will not happen.”

“At the UN General Assembly, I will present our truth — the truth of Israel’s citizens, of our soldiers, and of our nation,” Netanyahu declared at Ben Gurion Airport before departing.

Meanwhile, violence in Gaza escalated. The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that 11 people, including children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house sheltering displaced families in Az Zawaida, central Gaza.

“Several are dead, missing, or injured after an airstrike targeted the Abu Dahrouj family home,” Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal told AFP.

In another development, a Israeli military drone crashed into the UN headquarters in southern Lebanon, prompting UNIFIL to condemn the incident as a “serious violation of Resolution 1701 and Lebanese sovereignty.”
