KFOR responded to claims that Serbian drones had flown over Kosovo, stating that no violations by such aircraft impacting security have been identified.

The NATO mission in Kosovo emphasized that KFOR continuously monitors Kosovo’s airspace using all available assets and tools. According to the UN Security Council Resolution 1244, the KFOR Commander has authority over Kosovo’s airspace.

KFOR stressed the importance of coordinating all airspace activities, especially near the Administrative Boundary Line, to prevent tensions and ensure safety. The mission remains in close contact with Kosovo security organizations and the Serbian Armed Forces, contributing to a safe environment in an impartial manner, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police and EULEX.
