Today, the Municipality of Ferizaj marks Martyrs’ Day, also known as the “Epopee of Jezerc,” a day dedicated to honoring those who gave their lives for the freedom of Kosovo.
The commemorative activities begin at 10:00 with tributes at the martyrs’ cemetery.
At 10:30, tributes will be held at the grave of General Imri Ilazi – Commander Ferri.
At 11:00, the Memorial Academy will take place at the “Adriana” Theater, with the participation of institutional representatives, the families of the martyrs, and citizens.
Simultaneously at 11:00, in the village of Mollopolc in Shtime, a motocross race will be held as part of the remembrance events.
At 13:00, a road inauguration will be held in Devetak, Shtime, continuing the day’s planned agenda.
Finally, at 18:00, the memorial futsal tournament will conclude at the “Bill Clinton” Sports Hall in Ferizaj, wrapping up the commemorative day in honor of the municipality’s martyrs.
