The Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP) has rejected a complaint filed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) against the Vetëvendosje (LVV) candidate for mayor of Drenas, Egzona Tërdevci.

According to PZAP, the complaint, submitted on September 28, 2025, alleged that Tërdevci posted on Facebook on September 27, 2025, implying that PDK had two candidates in the Drenas mayoral race, referencing Petrit Hajdari and Ramiz Lladrovci.

The Facebook post in question read:
“Tonight at 20:20, the debate for Drenas on RTK. As synchronized in every other action, today the two PDK candidates were not present in this debate. I invite you to follow us!”

In its decision, PZAP concluded that the claims were unfounded. The panel found that Tërdevci’s actions did not violate Article 32 of Law No. 08/L-228 on general elections in the Republic of Kosovo. This article establishes that:

“The Code of Conduct for political parties, their supporters, and candidates aims to create conditions in which the people of Kosovo can elect their representatives through free, fair, and well-informed elections in an atmosphere of democratic tolerance, peace, and respect for the rule of law.”

PZAP’s decision confirms that Tërdevci’s post falls within acceptable conduct under Kosovo’s electoral law, and the complaint by PDK was therefore dismissed.
