The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that October 11, 2025, marks the end of the voting period for citizens of Kosovo registered to vote by mail in the Local Elections for Mayors and Municipal Assemblies.
This voting period began on September 17 and applies exclusively to 43,933 citizens who have been successfully registered as voters abroad.
Until October 11, all registered voters living outside Kosovo must send their ballot packages to one of the CEC’s designated postal boxes.
To make the process easier, postal boxes are functional in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Canada, Kosovo, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom, Norway, the United States, Albania, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, and Switzerland.
