American tech giant Amazon plans to invest €1 billion in Belgium between 2025 and 2027, according to Belgian newspaper L’Echo.
The company announced it will expand infrastructure and strengthen partnerships with the Belgian postal operator Bpost as well as local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The goal is to improve supply chains in Belgium to enable same-day deliveries for customers.
Currently, Amazon employs around 400 people in Belgium and has invested approximately €800 million over the past 10 years.
