Speaker of the Assembly, Dimal Basha, cast his vote in Sunday’s local elections.
Basha called on all citizens to turn out in large numbers, emphasizing that “the vote is your voice being heard and the most direct way to influence decisions that affect our daily lives.”
“Let this day be a celebration of democracy — with calm voting, high participation, and full civic spirit. In this way, we once again demonstrate our democratic maturity and our sincere love for the country we cherish,” Basha wrote on Facebook.
