Three individuals were arrested at a polling station in Drenas for photographing their votes.
This was announced during a press conference by PDK Secretary Vlora Çitaku:
“We were informed by our branch in Drenas that, thanks to the intervention of our observers, three individuals were caught photographing their votes. We will provide more details once available,” she said.
Çitaku emphasized that, overall, the voting process is proceeding mostly smoothly:
“Citizens are going out to vote and taking into their own hands the direction of their local governance. As we have always stressed, local governance is the most important for citizens. At the local level, the quality of citizens’ lives is determined.”
She also called on all citizens to vote responsibly and with hope:
“Vote responsibly, with conviction and hope. Vote for the future you want and deserve. Four years is a lifetime. We believe in the citizens of Kosovo,” Çitaku concluded.
