The Ministry of Finance has announced the opening of applications for the Vulnerable Energy Consumers Protection Program 2025–2026. Citizens can now apply for energy subsidies via the eKosova platform.
Families who applied last year do not need to reapply, as their data has been automatically carried over for 2025.
“However, if you have updated any information, such as the number of family members, residence, or electricity meter, you can easily update it in the same form, make the changes, and then click Apply,” the Ministry clarified.
The program aims to support vulnerable families during the winter and help them cope with electricity costs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo
- Income up to €150 per family member
- Real estate property up to €100,000
Applications remain open for six months, but the Ministry urges new applicants and those who have updated their information to apply in October, as retroactive payments will not be made.
