President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has extended her congratulations to Sanae Takaichi on her election as Japan’s new Prime Minister, emphasizing the strong and enduring friendship between the two nations.
“Heartfelt congratulations to Sanae Takaichi on becoming the Prime Minister of Japan. Kosovo deeply values its longstanding friendship with Japan, a steadfast ally of our people. We look forward to working with Prime Minister Takaichi to further strengthen and expand our excellent cooperation across all fields of mutual interest,” President Osmani wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Sanae Takaichi, leader of Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), secured majority support in both houses of Parliament, becoming the first female Prime Minister in Japan’s history and the 104th Prime Minister of the country.
