Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Dimal Basha, attended the traditional “Darka e Lamës” (Harvest Dinner), describing it as a symbol of unity, gratitude, and national cohesion.
Basha emphasized that this event continues a meaningful tradition initiated by President Ibrahim Rugova and further cultivated by President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu.
“Last night, we celebrated Darka e Lamës, a continuation of the tradition started by President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova and nurtured by President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu. Gathered around tables filled with local produce and traditional food, we united in a spirit of gratitude and respect for our land, the hard work of our farmers, and the prosperity they bring to our country.
Darka e Lamës is more than just a celebration of abundance; it is a sign of unity, appreciation, and national solidarity, reminding us that through work and cooperation, we build well-being for every citizen,” Basha stated.
He added, “Together with friends, institutional representatives, and international partners, we celebrated harvest, gratitude, and dedication to our shared future.”
