The 12th Berlin Process Summit has officially begun in London, bringing together leaders from the Western Balkans and European Union member states to discuss regional peace, stability, and cooperation.
The participants were welcomed by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.
Launched in 2014, the Berlin Process serves as a key diplomatic platform aimed at strengthening ties between the Western Balkans and the EU, as well as promoting dialogue and regional integration.
During this year’s summit, leaders are expected to focus on peace and stability in the Balkans, the fight against organized crime, economic cooperation, and the development of good neighborly relations.
Meanwhile, Kosovo’s representatives have expressed limited expectations regarding significant outcomes from the meeting, signaling cautious optimism about potential agreements.
