Glauk Konjufca, Vice President of Vetëvendosje, clarified that his recent visits to Gjakova were not related to election campaigning and were not intended to promote any candidate or specific voting numbers.

He emphasized that there is no law in Kosovo prohibiting having a coffee or meal in public spaces, describing his meetings as normal social visits:

“This has nothing to do with the election campaign. It’s a visit to meet our structures and everyone involved in this electoral process in a good atmosphere. It was not a visit to make special calls for specific candidates or numbers – you will find no law prohibiting having a coffee in Kosovo’s municipalities.”

Konjufca highlighted that the most important outcome is Kosovo winning as a whole, stressing that election results are ultimately decided by the citizens:

“Kosovo wins when an electoral cycle ends without incidents and with the highest European and democratic standards. Everything has gone well so far. Regarding individual candidates, the citizens’ vote is the ultimate verdict. We are one of the political parties, but we do not determine the outcome ourselves – the winner will be the one who earns the trust of the people.”

He expects the final results of all candidates to be known around 21:00 local time.
