President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, congratulated Albanian President Bajram Begaj, Prime Minister Edi Rama, and all Albanian citizens on the opening of the final five chapters in Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
In a post on X, Osmani described this as a historic step, highlighting Albania’s commitment to European integration. She emphasized that this progress brings the citizens of Albania—and the wider region—closer to the European Union, noting that citizens of Kosovo also celebrate this achievement.
President Osmani affirmed that Kosovo will continue its unwavering efforts to advance its own path toward EU integration.
