KFOR Welcomes Norwegian Ambassador Bjornstad: Security in Kosovo in Focus

Deputy Commander of KFOR, General Federico Collina, hosted the Norwegian Ambassador to Croatia, Arne Sannes Bjornstad, at the NATO mission headquarters in Prishtina on November 17, 2025.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the current security environment in Kosovo, as well as KFOR’s ongoing role in maintaining stability across the region.

The visit offered a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on the security situation in Kosovo. General Collina outlined KFOR’s commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo,” the mission said in a statement.

General Collina emphasized that KFOR remains dedicated to its mandate of preserving peace and ensuring freedom of movement for all communities in Kosovo.

The visit highlights the continued support of NATO member states, including Norway, for the mission’s role in maintaining stability in the Western Balkans, particularly amid recent tensions in northern Kosovo.
