The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, received today with full military honors the Commander of the Turkish Land Forces, General Metin Tokel, during his official visit to the Republic of Kosovo.
At the outset, General Jashari congratulated General Tokel on his recent appointment as Commander of the Turkish Land Forces and expressed gratitude for his visit to Kosovo.
During the meeting, the two generals discussed the excellent cooperation between the KSF and the Turkish Armed Forces, highlighting the training programs and joint activities that have played a crucial role in strengthening and advancing the capabilities of the KSF. They also explored further opportunities to expand bilateral military cooperation in support of enhancing Kosovo’s defense capacities.
General Tokel reaffirmed the commitment of Turkey and its Armed Forces to continue and deepen cooperation with the KSF, praising the development, professionalism, and rapid progress of Kosovo’s military.
