KFOR has announced that nearly 300 soldiers from the United States, Germany, Denmark, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Switzerland, Croatia, Latvia, Slovakia, and Poland participated in the Norwegian Ruck March at Camp Bondsteel.
The march, which covered 30 kilometers with an 11-kilogram backpack, was held in honor of fallen soldiers, reflecting the dedication, resilience, and professionalism of KFOR troops.

Nearly 300 soldiers from the United States, Germany, Denmark, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Switzerland, Croatia, Latvia, Slovakia, and Poland, serving under Regional Command – East within the NATO-led KFOR mission, took part in the Norwegian Ruck March at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.
The march covered 30 kilometers with an 11-kilogram backpack and was conducted in honor of fallen soldiers, symbolizing the commitment, endurance, and professionalism of KFOR troops.
KFOR continues to carry out its mandate — based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 — to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo and to ensure freedom of movement, at all times and impartially. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), each within its respective security responsibilities.
