The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, former Speaker of the Assembly, Dimal Basha, Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and the Acting Minister of Defense visited the soldiers of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) on the “Day of the Force.”
They first stopped at the weapons company of the Third Infantry Regiment, where the soldiers explained the weaponry they use, as well as the characteristics of the vehicles and arms systems.
Meanwhile, on the “Day of the Force,” the army traditionally opens its doors to its citizens.
Additionally, on December 14, 2018, the Kosovo Assembly approved three laws that enabled the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force into the Kosovo Army—namely, the Law on the Ministry of Defense, the Law on the Kosovo Security Force, and the Law on Service in the Kosovo Security Force.
