From The Hague, former President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi extended greetings to Albanians on the occasion of 28 November, expressing hope that next year they will be able to celebrate together.
Speaking during a preparatory court session, Thaçi also expressed his disappointment that the session was scheduled on the same day as the national celebration.
“Today, every Albanian celebrates a national, state, and family holiday, a day of dignity and national pride that every free people in the world commemorate. Today, every Albanian family and institution in Kosovo remembers and celebrates. Therefore, I can only wish all Albanians a joyful 28 November, celebrated together, proudly and with dignity. I believe that in the coming Novembers, we will celebrate together,” Thaçi said.
