Swiss–Albanian politician Korab Rashiti has stated that Kosovo’s major political parties, including LDK and PDK, have effectively lost the diaspora vote in Switzerland.
According to him, many Albanians living and working in Switzerland have been “brainwashed” by LVV, which he says has built a strategic partnership with Switzerland’s Socialist Party.
In his post, Rashiti explains that the Socialist Party, through its network of professional unions, influences political behavior not only for its own benefit but also indirectly in favor of LVV and a political circle he claims operates around the Kosovo embassy.
He argues that the links between the Socialist Party and LVV are obvious, while LDK and PDK have failed to build alliances with right-wing parties in Switzerland, despite those parties being dominant in the Swiss federal government since 1848.
Rashiti warns that these parties are losing the diaspora, not understanding either the political dynamics in Switzerland or the electoral consequences this may have in Kosovo.
