The Vice President of the KLA Veterans’ Association (OVL UÇK), Gazmend Syla, has urged the citizens of Kosovo, especially former soldiers of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), not to go to Serbia, but to choose alternative routes.
According to him, Serbia remains the same, and its “special war” against the people of Kosovo has not stopped.
“Serbia, even after the war we went through, has never stopped its special war against KLA soldiers, but also against other citizens. Therefore, this Serbia is the same. Back then, Serbia was led by Milošević; now by one of his former ministers, Mr. Vučić. We do not expect any changes, or that they will respect us more, considering how they treat their own citizens there,” Syla said.
“We call, even though we have done so often, but we continue to call, do not attempt to go there, especially KLA soldiers, because no one will stand up for you, no one will back you. Therefore, choose other alternatives, not Serbia, because it is the same as before,” he added.
