A day after FIFA revealed the possible opponents for Kosovo should they advance past the play-off, the potential match schedules have now been published as well.
All of this, of course, applies only if the “Dardanët” make it through the crucial play-off phase.
Kosovo must first survive two decisive matches in March:
- March 26: Kosovo faces Slovakia in Bratislava.
- If victorious, they will meet the winner of Türkiye vs. Romania for a place in the World Cup.
Should Kosovo secure qualification, they would join a tough group alongside Australia, Paraguay, and the United States.
Because of time zone differences, FIFA has confirmed that Kosovo’s potential World Cup fixtures will take place in the early morning local time:
- Australia vs Kosovo – 06:00
- Paraguay vs Kosovo – 06:00
- USA vs Kosovo – 04:00
The group-stage matches would be hosted in:
- Canada (BC Place Stadium) for the first match
- United States (Levi’s Stadium and SoFi Stadium) for the remaining two
Now all eyes turn to March to see whether Kosovo can earn its place among the world’s best.
