Earthquake Recorded in Kosovo in the Early Morning Hours

An earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale was recorded in the early morning hours today in the border region between Kosovo, Serbia, and North Macedonia.

According to seismological data, the tremor occurred at approximately 07:20 local time.

The epicenter was located at coordinates 42.3734° north latitude and 21.2843° east longitude, about 35 kilometers southeast of Pristina and approximately 11 kilometers northeast of Ferizaj.

The earthquake was recorded at a depth of around 9 kilometers.

So far, there have been no reports of material damage or injuries, while the tremor was lightly felt by residents in the surrounding areas.
