Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić arrived in Mostar on Monday, where he was welcomed by Željka Cvijanović, the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Arrived in Mostar, now heading to Trebinje. Thank you to Željka Cvijanović for the warm welcome,” Vučić wrote on Instagram.
During his visit to Herzegovina, Vučić first visited the Monastery of Saint Basil of Ostrog and Tvrdoš in Mrkonjići, accompanied by the leadership of the Republika Srpska (RS). He then attended a ceremony marking the opening of the ‘Saint Archdeacon Stefan – January 9’ Hospital in Trebinje.
Later today, Vučić is scheduled to officially open the new hospital in Trebinje, alongside Milorad Dodik, leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), and other officials of the Republika Srpska.
The opening of the “Saint Archdeacon Stefan – January 9” Hospital is part of the program marking Republika Srpska Day (January 9)—a date that the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has repeatedly ruled unconstitutional.
