Kosovo’s Ministry of Defense has launched a public tender worth €3 million for the construction of new facilities at the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) barracks in Gjilan, Gjakova, and Istog.
According to documents published on Kosovo’s electronic public procurement platform, the project is planned to be implemented over a three-year period and is divided into three separate lots, one for each military installation.
The total value of the tender is €3 million, funded by the KSF to improve its infrastructure, strengthen operational capabilities, and provide better conditions for military personnel.
Under the tender specifications, economic operators may submit bids for individual lots in accordance with the technical requirements and procurement criteria.
The investment covers the construction of facilities at the KSF barracks in Gjilan, Gjakova, and Istog, with implementation expected to proceed in phases over the next three years.
The project is part of the Ministry of Defense’s broader efforts to modernize Kosovo’s military infrastructure and further enhance the operational readiness of the Kosovo Security Force through continued investment in the country’s defense sector.
