The Director of Public Services in Fushë Kosovë, Izja Mjeku, has spoken about the flooding that has affected the municipality in recent days.
He announced that seven families have been evacuated in the municipality of Fushë Kosovë as a result of the floods.
Following the heavy rainfall, snowfall also began during the evening. Mjeku stated that road maintenance teams immediately started clearing the roads, Klankosova reports.
However, the main road, “Mother Teresa,” did not receive the same treatment.
Speaking on the program “Ora Shtatë,” Mjeku explained that the main road does not fall under municipal responsibility, but rather under the competence of the relevant ministry.
He also urged drivers to exercise increased caution in traffic and to adjust their speed to road and weather conditions.
