The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, today held an introductory meeting with Slovenia’s new Ambassador to Kosovo, Borut Blaj.
During the meeting, they discussed recent political developments in the country, the current challenges facing Kosovo, and bilateral relations between Kosovo and Slovenia. Abdixhiku emphasized that Slovenia remains an important partner and a strong supporter of Kosovo on its path toward Euro-Atlantic integration.
The LDK leader praised the excellent relations between the two countries and expressed gratitude for Slovenia’s continued support.
“He also welcomed Ambassador Blaj to Kosovo and wished him success in his diplomatic mission, expressing the LDK’s readiness for close cooperation aimed at further strengthening relations between the two countries,” the statement said.
