The United Kingdom has indicated that Kosovo has the potential to play a significant role in European security, according to British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, speaking from NATO headquarters in Brussels.
Hargreaves emphasized that Britain will continue supporting Kosovo in meeting NATO standards, highlighting ongoing cooperation aimed at strengthening Kosovo’s defense and security capabilities. He noted that these efforts are intended to help position Kosovo as a reliable regional security partner and potentially enable its participation in international missions beyond its borders.
The ambassador’s remarks underline growing international recognition of Kosovo’s strategic role in regional and European stability, as well as continued collaboration between Prishtina and Western allies in advancing defense reforms and interoperability with NATO structures.
