The second day of closing statements in the trial of Hashim Thaçi and co-defendants at The Hague has concluded.
It was announced at the end of today’s session that Thaçi’s defense team will deliver its closing arguments tomorrow.
Meanwhile, during today’s proceedings, The Hague prosecutors continued to assert that the former KLA leaders bore greater responsibility than claimed by the defendants themselves.
As on the previous day, both Chief Prosecutor Kimberly West and Prosecutor Matthew Howling attempted to discredit international witnesses called by Thaçi’s defense.
The trial remains a key moment in addressing allegations against former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army and assessing accountability for their actions.
