The Assembly of Kosovo has elected two new members to the Kosovo Judicial Council (KGJK), each with a five-year mandate.

The selected candidates are Bashkim Hyseni and Ivana Milenković.

The vote marks an important step in strengthening the institutional framework of Kosovo’s judiciary, with the Judicial Council playing a key role in ensuring the independence, efficiency, and accountability of the justice system.

Meanwhile, the position reserved for a representative from the Serb community remains unfilled. Authorities confirmed that a new call for applications will be announced to fill the vacancy.
